How it Works

The Perfect Dinner is committed to producing fresh-made, family- friendly dinners that are ready to heat and eat in the comfort of your own home.  Dinners are available for pick-up or delivery with no pre-order required. 

It's so simple.  It's so good.

FRESH MADE AND FULLY COOKED

The dinners are made with all fresh ingredients and are fully cooked in our on-site commercial kitchen. Once the food is cooked it is rapidly cooled and refrigerated. This extends the shelf life, allowing you the flexibility to serve the dinners within several days of purchase.

Usually, the meals will retain their freshness and quality for four days.  Meals that are not completely sold out on the day they are prepared are still available to order for the next two days.  This gives you a wide selection of dishes to choose from on any given day -- several of these "carry-over" items plus the three to four new entrees we prepare fresh each day.

READY TO HEAT & EAT

Our meals are packaged in revolutionary new packaging which is the height of convenience for our customers.  These dual-ovenable containers can go directly from your refrigerator into the oven OR microwave.  Before heating in the oven, simply remove the plastic top of the package and cover with foil. To heat in the microwave, simply remove the plastic top and cover the package with paper towels to reduce splatter.

3 SIZES, 3 PRICES

Our meals are packaged in three sizes, which correspond to the three prices listed on the monthly menu.  The small size has approximately 2-3 servings,  the medium size (pictured) has approximately 4 servings and the large size has approximately 6 servings.  Regardless of the size you select, per serving portions are comparable.  You can expect to receive approximately 5 ounces of chicken per serving, 4-5 ounces of beef, and 3-5 ounces of pork. Each serving consists of roughly one cup of starch, whether it be potatoes, rice, or pasta.

We've been working to update our website to include pictures, ingredients, and heating instructions. Some pictures depict approximately one serving of each meal, which has been transferred from The Perfect Dinner container onto a plate for serving. Others depict the main dish & side starch packaged together as it is will be sold to you.

PICK-UP OR DELIVERY WITH NO PRE-ORDER REQUIRED

Dinners are ready for pick-up or delivery without pre-ordering (we request pre-orders for our large size and most holiday menus. Check the Holiday Menu page for seasonal offerings).  You can call at any time and reserve a dinner to pick up or be delivered later, or you can call us at the last minute when you're ready to eat.  If it's late in the day sometimes we will run out of a particular menu item or size, but we always have other delicious items to choose from.

Available from 4 - 7:30 pm Monday - Friday and 3 - 6pm on Saturdays. 

Park Ridge Deliveries - Daily Specials

Available from 4-8pm Monday - Friday and 3 - 6pm on Saturdays.

You can request a specific half-hour time slot or you can request the next available delivery.  Our delivery drivers are in constant motion so you will get your dinner usually within 30-45 minutes.  Deliveries in the local area are $2.50 per delivery.  Deliveries outside this area are available based on mileage and charges vary.
